As we approach the Apocalypse expect wide spread food shortages and inflation driven price spikes. As the situation progresses: all the air borne debris, smoke and sulphur will make the cultivation of crops and raising of live stock impossible. Constant harassment by the beast as well as widespread lava flows will further exasperate the situation. One food stuff widely available to anyone still around will be human flesh (both dead and alive). Cannibalism will become acceptable and perhaps fashionable during the end of days.
